1945 K-25 viewsRestored to Original. 16 types of K series trucks were made in 1945. Production numbers indicate that only 57 K-2 trucks were manufactured in 1945 (54 of which were made at the Springfield Plant and 3 from Fort Wayne). All the trucks in 1945 received a redesigned cylinder head, and combustion chamber for improved fuel economy as well as improved pressure lubrication system. The K series ran from the end of 1940 until March of 1947 when the KB line of International trucks made it's appearance.
